Recycle Solutions Offers Expanded Service to Enable Businesses to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle More of Their Packaging Waste

Memphis, TN (May 10, 2011) —Recycle Solutions, the Midsouth’s largest recycler, has expanded its services to provide manufacturers and distributors more options to focus on the “reuse” aspect of their “reduce, recycle, and reuse” initiatives. Companies incur significant expenses designing and purchasing custom packaging solutions to safely ship their products.  Once the items arrive at their clients’ destinations, the packaging materials are usually thrown away – even when most of it could be reused. Recycle Solutions now provides a way for businesses to cost-effectively recycle and reuse this material while adding to their bottom line and keeping a significant amount of trash out of landfills.

Recycle Solutions has opened a new 25,000 square- foot processing center in Searcy AR, where 12 employees receive packaging waste, sort and clean it, and send reusable components back to the appropriate providers for reuse. This service will provide companies in the Midsouth, the nation’s logistics hub, a cost-effective closed-loop process with one provider.  Recycle Solutions purchases and picks-up the material, processes it, and sends it back to the supplier for reuse.

Mark Huber, Operations Manager for Recycle Solutions, states that “This service is the final component of a truly comprehensive recycling service for our clients.  Now, in addition to helping businesses capture value from their waste, we can help them save on production, administration, and landfill costs.  They can reduce, reuse, and recycle much more of their waste stream. “

Recycle Solutions will recycle and resell components of packaging including end boards, tags, H and U channels, clips, plastic sleeve plugs, wood core plugs, and pallets.  Most of these products are used in products on rolls, parts, and electronic equipment.

In addition to their current offerings: industrial recycling, organic waste recycling, and secure destruction, Recycle Solutions can now accept all of their clients’ non-hazardous byproducts.

Memphis based Recycle Solutions, founded in 2002, provides waste optimization and secure destruction programs. The company specializes in total recycling programs for mid and large size clients, helping them improve sustainability with innovative, cost-effective solutions.
